We also welcome Lagos FAs message investment in local structures pays dividends. Its not just about identifying talent it is about nurturing leadership, technical growth, and values alignment early. A state may produce a star once but sustained systems produce many more.

These honours are timely reminders that football growth must be inclusive and purposeful. And if Lagos can model this, it sets a template for other regions use local leagues, support academies, and celebrate success because every national hero began somewhere close to home.
